  1. an editor for editing delimited text tables
  2. a validating XML editor
  3. a shell: we use the bash shell to run a variety of every day tasks in a command-line terminal.
  4. version control: we maintain all of our editorial work in publicly visible git repositories.
  5. application container: we use docker containers to run platform-independent applications including morphological parsing systems
